Hope, Help, and Strength Town Hall

Posted on

The Stevens Middle School Prevention Club is hosting this town hall meeting at Lincoln Center on Thursday, March 29, 6:00 -8:0 pm, to create solutions that make it easier for people to be healthy in their own communities.  The focus of this event will be to provide an opportunity for community partners to have a conversation about the overlapping issues of Mental Health, Substance Use (including alcohol, marijuana, and other drug use), and Suicide Prevention. The recent suicide death of a former classmate sparked the SMS Prevention Club to create a strategic plan regarding negative stress. It is their hope that this town hall will provide our residents with the beginning of a roadmap to building a healthier community.  All are welcome!  For more information or a copy of the event flyer, click here.
