Mandala Center for Change in association with the League of Women Voters presents the Legislative Theatre Youth Empowerment Project, Friday June 24 and Saturday June 25 at the Vern Burton Center in Port Angeles.

The event begins with a short play based on local Clallam County youth’s real-life experiences. Next audience members will be invited onstage to offer solutions to the problems presented – on the individual, institutional, and government levels. A community dialogue will ensue leading into the “Legislative Theatre” – a mock legislative session during which audience members will propose policy ideas and vote on those they want to see passed.
